It was a wild night on Halloween here in the city, it’s funny the whole city just turns into a big party it seems like, Skyler and I of course hit the streets with some brown bags of bud 40’s and come to find out when we get on the subway we weren’t the only ones! Everybody was brown baggin! And everyone was rocking costumes, Skyler and I didn’t have costumes, weak I know so we ended up just dressing as identical twins! Hahaha… Later on in the night we actually ended up going over to Brooklyn and went to a few crazy partys in these real dope loft spaces were there was literally 100’s of people there, there was roof access with even more people up there, free booze, good jams, and some nice looking girls! After the first party we ended up checking out this other party like a mile away, but when we got in, it was to packed for my liking, and by this time it was like 4:00 in the morning… Then we had the fun commute from I don’t even know where in brooklyn, to the upper east side! Thank goodness for the iPhone getting us back! Here are a few photos I shot with my phone, I took some more photos with my camera, if they come out good I’ll post those later.

Lately I’ve been more hyped on Brooklyn than the city it seems like, I don’t know, maybe it’s because of the lack of the mid to upper class white moms pushing their thousand dollar strollers around acting better than everyone, or it could just be the whole upper east side in general! Hahaha anyway Brooklyn seems way better for now!

August is coming to an end sooner than I know, and that means the lease is up and it’s time for a lovely 5×5 storage unit upgrade! and in the midst of all the traveling I have planned for the weeks ahead it always helps to come home to… well, have no home to come to.

Well as everyone knows the site launched on my birthday, I also took a few photos that day and the following weekend. I wanted to say thanks again to Corey and Lauren for inviting me over for a nice unexpected birthday dinner, and cake! As usual the food was very organic, and very great! always love the dinners and hanging out with the family. Also I ended up going to Vancouver to do a little shoot with HB and hang out for a bit, while of course shooting some more photos along the way! Im pretty psyched on the way the film photos came out (there are some iPhone photos intermixed), I ended up using Velvia 200 slide film meant for shooting landscapes, but I shot a lot of people to see how it would look…hence the reddish tint.
