Harrison and his brother Hamilton came up today to do some computer swapage, and while in between waiting for massive file transfers, we decided to make a short film in the down time. enjoy.

Corey and I just went down to San francisco to do a few projects for the past week. I usually can spare a moment or two when im out and about to update this blog, but this trip was crazy, we worked some long hours, so here I am a few days late.. here is a first batch or photos for you to check out, there are quite a bit more to go through too..

Corey Fuller, a good friend of mine and I have a nice little video project coming up for the next month and a half or so, and we are utilizing the 5D mark 2 along with the HXV 200 to capture the footage. Today we basically had a nerd out session and just tried to figure out workflows with the new camera since our first shoot is coming up Thursday, and either of us have much experience using the 5D. All in all it is quite a learning curve to say the least, im not going to get into severe details here by any means about technicalities -  you can check Laforet’s blog for that, but damn this camera is so good, here are a few 1st day video stills from the studio, yes video stills, not photographs. they’re nothing amazing as far as photographs go just test shots really, but look at that depth!! Oh and were using a whole range of Canon 1.2 Primes, so that doesn’t hurt! I’m so excited!! more 5D updates to come as we become more familiar!
